After one year interruption due to pandemic the annual retreat of the Else Kröner Forschungskolleg Cologne together with fellow from the Else-Kröner Forschungskollegs Frankfurt and Göttingen could be held from 16th to 17th November 2022. The event took place at the Center for integrated Oncology Cologne (CIO). The program was opened with a key note lecture on “Non Small Cell Lung Cancer". by Prof. Roman Thomas (Head of Department Translational Genomics, University Cologne). Afterwards the Fellows had the opportunity to present and discuss 12 of their projects.
The day was completed by a tour of the roof and cellar of Cologne Cathedral and a joint visit to a brewery.
We are happy that the retreat could take place again this year and we are already looking forward to next year.
